[Sparkling waits patiently as Crash writes, taking the note to read once it's been finished. He does make a mental note to try to stick to yes or no questions, or at the very least simpler ones, for the future, for Crash's sake. At least while they're talking to each other in person, anyway.]

I can understand that sentiment, believe me. I am admittedly stronger now as a Monster than I ever was as a Cookie. But...I would give anything to go back to it.

[He knows this form will become second nature with enough time, but for now? It's still too soon.]

Mmhm, magic is very useful. Did you know that I used to be able to use healing magic, back home?

[He says that as he pulls a few things from behind the bar to get started working with these fruits. He wants to see what he can whip up for Crash to taste test while he's still here.]

[The nymph replies with a hum that sounds like a nonverbal note of intrigue, lifting his eyebrows in surprise and leaning closer. Because it's probably not just so he can watch the act of bartending more thoroughly.

Imagine that, a magically alive cookie that was able to do real magic. Well, he can suspend his belief.]

It's true! The drinks I mixed had healing properties, if you'd believe it. Not that it works anymore, of course...but maybe that's something that can be changed in the future, if I ask Mana nicely enough.

[He'll take what remains of the fruits to a blender as he talks, deciding that a good starting point would be to just juice them outright.]

[Because that's certainly what his brain is latching onto. While he's never bothered to comment over the network, Crash has definitely noticed that people always seem to be upset about what they got for their coins. Distrusting the witch at best.]

A lot of them don't no...apparently she's prone to misunderstanding requests or making mistakes. I can't really say much since I've only asked for one thing, and she delivered and then some...but maybe I just got lucky?

[Read: he did just get lucky, and he will be eating those words...eventually]

[Sparkling carefully pours the fruit he'd blended into a glass as he says this, having filled it with ice previously. A sprig of mint here, an slice of orange for garnish...]

[You know, sometimes he's not quite sure what to do with some of these garnishes that he can't deny as being a nice touch on the drinking glass. Should he squeeze it into the juice like a lemon? Eat it after? Oh, whatever, nobody ever said that prim and proper was Crash's strong suit.

While he doesn't have the face for his usual first inspection of sniffing the drink, the nymph is pretty confident in fitting the straw under his mask, wrapping his tongue around the top of it, then getting straight to sipping.

... A bartender can tell exactly what a customer thinks a drink from how fast and smooth it's going down the hatch.]

[As far as Sparkling is concerned, Crash can do whatever he likes with it and it won't change the experience much. He knows there are some who are very particular about this sort of thing, and while he does have a method to his madness, he isn't one of those people. Instead, he focuses on Crash's reaction to the smoothie, watching intently.]

I tried to keep as much of the original flavors intact as I could. Really, it's more of just a blended smoothie than anything else...with some ice and a bit of lemon added for taste.

[Hard to go wrong with a virgin drink. Crash sips up the fruit smoothie, eating the mint and all with it, and doesn't seem any less than satisfied with the refreshing flavor as he gently passes the glass back to Sparkling.]

Thinking... with a clear alcohol... people will like.

[Read: It'd probably be a smooth experience with a nice gin or vodka and also preserves the signature color.]

I was thinking the same. Quick and easy yet refreshing all the same. You and Tawna both have done all the work for me with this one.

[He knows Tawna mentioned that just having the drink itself out there for them to enjoy was enough, but he does intend to forward a portion of the proceeds to them just as a courtesy. If it's still politely turned down, he'll instead donate the proceeds, like how he did with the raffle at the bar's grand opening.]

[Crash idly thinks an orchard of wumpa and bumpa would be a pleasant addition to the peninsula someday. But for now, as long as this form lasts, he's the walking fruit orchard. But yes, this seems to be about a good time for loose negotiations.]

Well, let's see...I propose we start with just a little bit as a trial run to see how it does on the menu. I don't want you to give me more fruit than I can use in one night, so maybe just a small bowl of both would be enough? I don't want to overtax you.

[He taps a finger against his chin as he considers that.]

We'll see how it goes and work out what to do from there.

[To that, Crash nodded. Sounds perfectly reasonable as far as he can see. Once Sparkling produces the fruit bowls, the nymph immediately gets to work filling them full of the wumpas and bumpas, then stacking a few extra on top of the piles.]
