Personality:
Ever the life of the party, Sparkling Cookie lives up to his namesake and then some. He's a cookie who was baked with high amounts of carbonated juice in his dough (what it really is, most likely, is champagne, but for censor reasons the devs had to workaround that somehow), making for an individual who is always energetic, always prepared, always smiling. Sparkling enjoys planning and hosting parties more than anything, which he does out of his own juice bar that he bartends for at the center of the kingdom he and the other cookies all call home. Due to his good looks and charming personality, Sparkling is typically looked at incredibly fondly by his peers. Often, he's called upon to host various other events that have cropped up throughout the kingdom, most notably contests. He has a voice that projects well and he can easily command the attention of a crowd in any situation.

Sparkling isn't simply all about his looks, however. Being a bartender, he finds himself coming across cookies of all flavors and stripes, and he welcomes them in with open arms. Much of his time is spent not just entertaining the cookies, but being willing to lend them an ear when they need someone to vent their problems or worries to. He himself comments on how often cookies will tell him everything on their hearts when they've had a glass or two, but he doesn't seem to mind letting them use him as a sounding board. Because of this, he doesn't have a hard time making connections with others, and he doesn't discriminate. So long as you're providing honest business and don't make a fool of yourself, well, you're more than welcome within his walls. He will tolerate some measure of rabble-rousing, especially when he knows it would be better to allow it to play out than to intervene, but it's best not to test Sparkling's limits...especially at his bar.

On top of being good to look at, Sparkling is devilishly clever beneath that perfectly manicured appearance. He's mastered the art of keeping his feelings under wraps so as to preserve the impression he gives off to others, which means he's able to navigate situations that would make even the toughest feel flustered. There is an instance where he's kidnapped by pirates, but instead of folding and succumbing to despair, he follows the orders of his captors to the letter...which thankfully involve preparing drinks for them while under threat, mostly. This allows him- with the help of his friends- to slip a sedative into the drinks while his captor is none the wiser, knocking him out and allowing the captives to make an escape. He knows that sometimes you gather more flies with honey than vinegar, so he's willing to let situations play out and will keep his cool under pressure so as to find a way to turn things more favorably.

Though Sparkling may seem as much, he's far from perfect. His tendency to keep his true feelings under wraps can be more of a hindrance than a boon to those around him, making it difficult to actually know the "true" Sparkling. He's not quite superficial, but he's definitely a bit more closed off feelings wise than his exhuberant nature might lead one to assume. One might say he does this to continue to keep up his appearances, not wanting others to see him in any light that isn't favorable, while others may see it as a sort of defense mechanism. How often does Sparkling get to speak candidly to others, after all? Spending most of your time being a sponge for other peoples' emotional burdens- while not always a bad thing- can also be detrimental to your ability to properly express yourself, at least completely genuinely.

Sparkling's attention to his own appearance results in him being a bit vain and outright gaudy at times, with his preference towards the garish and extravagant. Some might find Sparkling to be a lot as an individual to deal with, seeing as how he's one of the most extroverted extroverts out there. He lives for people and breathes the company and attention, and while he doesn't necessarily mean for it to be in malice, it probably seems like the attention he garners from his parties and lavish events are all he really cares about. It's certainly not an incorrect conclusion to draw, given the fact that he literally practices his smile in the mirror before he goes to work every day.
